QA TECHNICIAN - OCEANSIDE, CA

JOB SUMMARY:

Under direct supervision, execute a variety of tasks for identifying and analyzing product performance quality issues.  Collaborate with the Quality Assurance staff and support the evaluation of non-conforming products, visual inspection of finished goods/materials, data collection and entry, and general project support activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and/or RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Participates in capability studies through the generation of dimensional measurements on parts and materials.
  2. Gathers and inputs data concerning wet test results and uploads to JD Edwards.
  3. Creates “tests” in JD Edwards and links them to raw material part numbers to facilitate the receiving inspection process within the organization.
  4. Maintains boron rejection evaluation by entering lab test results into spreadsheets to calculate corresponding boron rejection values.
  5. Contributes to the evaluation of non-conforming products through liaison with logistics in finished goods inventory returns, visual inspections, and segregation of product.
  6. Works with the Quality Assurance staff and helps in the preparation of element autopsies such as dying and de-shelling elements.
  7. Supports departmental staff in product certification programs such as NSF, etc.
  8. Participates in internal audits of Quality Management System as directed.

MINIMUM EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 

  1. High School diploma or GED and 0 – 1 years’ related experience within a manufactured product inspection/technical support environment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

JOB SUMMARY:

Job Summary:

Under direct supervision, perform routine material handling functions such as inventory control, data entry, shipment of orders, process shipping documents, moving product, pulling stock or restocking materials and general housekeeping.  Use equipment such as scanning gun, stand-up and standard forklift; and fill material requisitions and/or orders using First-In-First-Out (FIFO) principles and identify discrepancies as well as may pack products for finished goods.  Conduct cycle counts, location verification of materials and resolve warehouse discrepancies following standard operating procedures. ACCOUNTANT (temp-to-hire)– OCEANSIDE, CA

JOB SUMMARY:

Under limited supervision, perform a variety of multifaceted moderately complex accounting functions such as account/ledger analysis and maintenance, account reconciliations and fixed asset management. Collaborate with Accounting Manager regarding budget variance analysis, tax compliance, month-end close, preparation and posting of journal entries and accruals, general ledger and sub-ledger account resolutions including fixed assets subsidiary ledger.  Organize annual departmental expense budget and create and analyze budget variance reports and prepare cash flow forecasts for management. Participate in special projects on an ad-hoc basis.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Prepares, analyzes and posts month end accruals and allocation journal entries and prepares reconciliations of the related general ledger accounts.
  2. Facilitates the intercompany transactions including debit note preparation, collaborating with affiliate companies on resolving variances and preparing intercompany reporting.
  3. Manages the fixed asset program for the organization including, CAPEX budget, return on investment analysis, capitalizing assets, preparing tax depreciation schedules and property tax returns and championing the annual asset physical inventory process.

ELECTRICAL ENGINEER– OCEANSIDE, CA

Under general supervision, manage projects involving plant electrical systems, manufacturing equipment, machine controls and automated equipment systems. Nature of Work:  Under general supervision, performs moderately complex maintenance related to operations, machinery equipment and automation systems like PLC programming. Incumbents perform major building electrical, construction and security equipment maintenance and repairs. Provides input to proposed manufacturing equipment. WET TEST TECHNICIAN I – Oceanside, CA

JOB SUMMARY:

Under direct supervision, operate pre-treatment equipment for preparation of testing of elements.  Set-up and shut down, and prepare material for production loading and unloading onto testing equipment. Maintain a required level of output. Keep accurate records and logs associated with production, quality, quantity and any other necessary record-keeping activities.  Work with seawater and non-seawater products.  Ensure all documentation accompanies product to final test stage. Work with pounds per square inch up to 200 (PSI). PLEASE NOTE: These are 3rd shift, 10:30pm-7am positions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and/or RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Performs one or more functions within the Pre-Treat area such as vacuum rinsing, flushing, chlorine treatment, pressure testing and processing product through other various pressurized procedures.
  2. Loads/unloads product from manufacturing transport equipment onto appropriate machine or production equipment.
  3. Maintains daily, weekly and monthly productivity goals set by production management, including clean-up, rework, core tube preparation or other production activities.
