Hydranautics Welcomes New Management |
Oceanside, CA Hydranautics, the world's leader in membrane technology, is expecting tremendous growth this year in the reverse osmosis, ultrafiltration and microfiltration markets. They will be introducing new and exciting products that are at the cutting edge of the water treatment industry. In order to help meet this growth, Hydranautics has welcomed several new employees to their international management team. Mr. Robert Maravich joins Hydranautics as their new Director of Municipal Sales for the US and Canada. He brings over 23 years of experience in the water treatment industry beginning as a process design engineer specializing in liquid separation and purification technologies. In the following years as Vice President of Sales and Marketing, he assisted in the integration of corporate acquisitions. He rounded out his previous tenure as VP of Technology and Development and VP Technical Services. With a wealth of experience and expertise in the membrane technology field, Mr. Maravich now joins the Hydranautics team as their Director of Municipal Sales for US and Canada. Hydranautics also welcomes Dr. Stefan Rybar as their new Technical Support Manager for Europe and the Middle East. Dr. Rybar began his career in 1978 in the oil industry gaining extensive experience with pre-treatment, demineralization as well as waste water treatment. His technical knowledge and experience led him to the position of RO Engineering Manager in Weir Westgarth Ltd. With over 25 years of experience in water treatment, Dr. Rybar will now coordinate international efforts by managing technical aspects of different projects from Europe and the Middle East. Hydranautics also welcomes John Banham as their Process Engineering Manager. Formerly Kalsep's Applications & Proposals Manager, Mr. Banham brings over 20 years of experience in water and wastewater treatment. He will provide UF/MF system designs and quotations for Europe, and will support the worldwide UF/MF Business Team. Concurrently, Martin Heijnen has joined Hydranautics as the Senior Applications Engineer providing technical support for the European sales offices for the UF/MF product line. Mr. Heijnen has been working in the United Kingdom as a Membrane Technologist for Kalsep Ltd., for the past 6 years. Martin has carried out advanced studies in the field of membrane development, has developed hollow fiber membranes at Kalsep, and assisted in HYDRAcap® plant start-ups. Hydranautics also welcomes Dr. Andrea Lovato, M.Sc, Ph.D. who will fill the position of Executive Manager Municipal Sales, Europe. Dr. Lovato received his Ph.D. in Manufacturing Engineering Processes in 1997 at the Technical University of Denmark. Dr. Lovato's working background is mainly in thermal desalination business, where he gained much technical and commercial experience in engineered-to-purpose large desalination plants.
